very cool for Dave to have a signature Dif-e-yo!
it looks great, but the 72g's throws me off a bit...is that with or without the weight rings? I can deal with the player model being 67g...even if that's without the rings, I can cut on it until it gets to where I like it... bring on the silicone-able Dif!! |

Damn right.
I'm quite keen to see the guts of this beast. Deep recess and a wider gap?? The detail in the inside hub machining is beautiful. That and the mellow green give it a retro look IMO. (The big writing around the rim isn't so retro but o well!) Plus ano'd satin finish looks real nice.

My sentiments echo what everyone else has said really. I'm not a big fan of the "national yoyo master" text, its a bit too "big" for my liking. I do like the colour and the machining on the hub area.
The weight also throws me off as a prefer a lighter yo. However, im sure it'll be a good player judging by frank's past record =) I'll give it a miss though |

or is that a special edition of it?

i prefer dif pads...so i'm glad Mr. Difeo stuck w/ that design.
72gms. sounds delicious to me...but i throw my barebones w/ the weight rings. & hopefully the production runs will just be raw aluminum. perhaps a satin finish? so excited 'bout this new dif, i can't help but speculate. good stuff, Mr. Difeo. I'll look to pick one up on my birthday. mgodinez cloudy... |

I want to publicly thank Frank for asking me to make a signature yo-yo. It is truly an honor to have such a high quality manufacture make a great yo-yo for me.
As for the signature model being 72 grams. I have always loved a heavy yo-yo.....surely not the trend these days, but that is something that really sets this yo-yo apart from all of the others. It will spin for days! I even play it with the rings at 78 grams.....sure a bit heavy, but again, it spins for days! The silicone is the best for me....TIGHT binds, and great spins on the throw....but the versatility to put in a dif pad, or recess is great too. And modders will like this one too. The player model will be like all of the other dif player models. Raw aluminum and the weight will be just 67 grams. Thanks Frank, for another rock solid creation. Dave |
